Getting the right fit

The right height is the single most important variable. A cane set to your exact measurement transforms comfort, posture, and confidence.

Stand upright in your normal shoes with your arms relaxed at your sides. The top of the cane should align with the crease of your wrist — your elbow will have a natural 15–20° bend, which is the optimal angle for load transfer and comfort.

Standard sizes run from 29″ to 38″ (approx. 73–96 cm). If you're between sizes, go slightly longer — a marginally tall cane is easier to adapt to than one that's too short.

DaiWalk canes are built to a fixed, precise length — this eliminates the instability and rattle of adjustable mechanisms and ensures maximum structural integrity. They are not adjustable after production.

While we recommend using our Size Calculator for a perfect factory fit, the shaft can be easily trimmed at home if a shorter length is required. Simply cut to your preference and slide the rubber tip back on.

Hold the cane in the opposite hand to your weaker or affected leg. This mirrors the natural arm-swing of walking and transfers weight efficiently across the body. Move the cane forward with your weaker leg, then step through with your stronger leg.

Yes. We laser-engrave initials, a name, or a phone number on the cane's signature silver ring. Add your personalization on the product page via the Add personalization field. Maximum 10 characters for the best result.

A DaiWalk cane is engineered for daily use. The only routine maintenance is the rubber tip — replace it when wear appears, typically every 3–6 months with regular use.

All DaiWalk canes ship with a 100% natural rubber tip for superior all-terrain grip. When replacing, use only original DaiWalk spare tips to ensure the correct diameter and maintained performance. Available in the accessories section of our store.

Rubber tips can bond tightly to the shaft over time. Our specialized removal tool makes it safe and easy — available in the accessories section.

Wipe the shaft and handle with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct heat. A dry cloth is sufficient for the rubber tip.

Store upright or hanging — avoid leaning heavy objects against the shaft.

Yes. Walking canes are permitted as carry-on items under TSA and equivalent international guidelines. A standard rubber tip is never an issue. If you use a metal spike winter tip, pack it in checked luggage.

Our return policy

We want you to be completely satisfied. If something isn't right, we're here to make it right.

30-day return window.

Items must be unused, with tags, and in original packaging. Customized items are non-returnable.

  • Email help@daiwalk.com first — items sent back without approval will not be accepted
  • Customers cover return shipping costs unless otherwise stated
  • 1-year warranty covers production defects, not accidental damage
  • EU customers have an additional 14-day cooling-off period
  • Refunds processed within 10 business days of approval

Email help@daiwalk.com with your order number and reason for return. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted. Once approved, we'll send full instructions.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Personalized items — including custom lengths, color combinations, and engravings — cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive defective or damaged.

Inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If it's defective, damaged, or incorrect, email help@daiwalk.com with photos. We'll resolve it as quickly as possible.

The fastest way: return the item you have, and once accepted, place a new order for the correct item.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the outcome. If approved, a refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Allow additional time for your bank to post the amount.

If 15 business days have passed with no refund, contact help@daiwalk.com.

Yes. If your order is shipped within the EU, you have the right to cancel or return within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must be unused, with tags, and in original packaging — with proof of purchase.
